I enjoy programming, and if I had more free time I would probably produce more. I took a dive pretty deeply into Linux a couple years ago. I created my own customization of the Knoppix Live C.D. for which I built my own initialization interface and a slick desktop background switcher written in Python. I prefer PHP and I keep trying to learn and use JAVA.

Recently, the CDrom drive on my laptop stopped working, and then I got a "blue screen of death" starting XP. The result was a network install of Debian which I had not touched in a while. Debian Etch with the Gnome desktop is a very slick package these days. It has rekindled my interest in Linux.
